Odyssey of the Mind is a creative long-term solving competition that has encouraged teams of students to have fun and grow their creative problem-solving skills since 1978.

Each team of five to seven students, coached by a parent volunteer, solves one "long-term" problem over the course of several weeks. Students in grades K-2 are in the Primary division. This year's Primary problem is "Animals are People, Too!" Division 1 includes students in grades 3-5 and provides a choice of five problems to solve. This year, the Odyssey of the Mind competition is virtual. Teams, including volunteer coaches and judges, must be registered no later than January 15. To find out more, email arongenpta@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, January 13.
